For IT consultants

Every client's 2FA in one place, and a clean handover at the end.

You move between client environments all day, and each one wants a code from a different phone or app. Fox Auth keeps them together, shares them with the people on the engagement, and records every use so you can show exactly who accessed what.

14-day free trial. Web, Mac app, and Chrome extension on every plan.

Sound familiar?

The 2FA problems it consultants run into, and how Fox Auth fixes them.

You switch between five client environments before lunch.

One vault, one search box. Press ⌃⌥⌘F on your Mac, type the client, and the code is copied.

A client wants proof that access ended with the project.

The audit log records every reveal, copy, and autofill, and removing someone ends their access straight away.

You bring in a specialist for a week.

Invite them as a member. They get codes, never the secret keys, and lose access the moment you remove them.

The engagement ends and the client wants their accounts back.

Export the secrets as CSV or a printable QR sheet and hand them over. The client's codes keep working in any authenticator app.

What goes in the vault

The accounts it consultants share most.

If it shows a 2FA setup QR code or a setup key, Fox Auth can hold it. These are some of the most common.

How it works

Add it once. Share it. Everyone's in.

  1. 1

    Add your codes

Paste a setup QR screenshot, scan it with your camera, type the key, or import from Google Authenticator.

  2. 2

    Invite your team

Send each person a one-time invite link. Choose which codes are for the team and which are Only me.

  3. 3

    Log in anywhere

Get codes on the web, from the Mac menu bar, or autofilled in Chrome. Every use is logged.

Questions from it consultants

I'm a solo consultant. Is Fox Auth worth it?

Starter covers up to 3 people and 10 shared codes for $9.95 a month, and the Mac app and Chrome extension are included. Many solo consultants use it to stop juggling phones.

Can I keep my own accounts private?

Yes. Set any code to Only me and nobody else on the team sees it.

Can I give a client their codes when we finish?

Yes. Owners can export secrets as a CSV of otpauth:// links or a printable QR sheet. Exports need a second factor and show in the audit log.

Is it safe to keep client 2FA in the cloud?

Secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the encryption key is held separately from the database, and people only ever receive codes. Read the security model.
