Changelog

What's new in Fox Auth

New features, improvements, and fixes across the web vault, the Chrome extension, and the Mac app. Newest first.

Plans, billing, and easier invites

  • NewFour plans (Starter, Team, Business, Scale), monthly or yearly, with a 14-day free trial. Pay securely through Stripe and manage your card and invoices from Settings → Billing.
  • NewStarter is now $9.95/month ($99.50/year) for up to 3 people and 10 shared codes.
  • NewJoin a team by pasting an invite link, without creating a team of your own first.
  • ImprovedChrome extension 0.1.1 follows the new invite flow.
  • ImprovedOwners can now turn Require two-factor for owners and admins on or off. Exporting and deleting a team still always need a 2FA code.
  • FixedTeams over their plan's limits now see a clear notice. Owners can always export their codes.

Fox Auth is live

  • NewThe shared 2FA vault at app.foxauth.com. Add a code once and your whole team can use it.
  • NewAdd codes by pasting a QR screenshot, scanning with your camera, uploading an image, or typing the setup key.
  • NewImport from Google Authenticator. Exported accounts come in as Only me, so nothing gets shared by accident.
  • NewChrome extension: matches codes to the site you're on, autofills the 2FA box, and scans QR codes on the page.
  • NewAudit log of every reveal, copy, autofill, edit, and export.
  • NewSign in with Google or an email link or code.
  • NewExport your secrets as CSV or a printable QR sheet whenever you like.
